Terms & refund policy

The short version

Every book is written and illustrated from scratch for the child you name, so we can't resell or restock one. That means all sales are final. But if a book doesn't reach you, that's on us to fix — and we will.

All sales are final

Your book is generated the moment you pay: an original story, an illustrated character, and a finished PDF made only for your order. Because nothing is produced in advance and nothing can be resold, we don't offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind — including a book you ordered by mistake, a story you didn't enjoy, or illustrations that weren't what you pictured.

You confirm this at checkout before paying. Please look over your character's name, age range, theme, and page count carefully before you order, because we can't change them once generation starts.

If we don't deliver, we make it right

This is the exception, and we mean it. If your book fails to generate, arrives incomplete or corrupted, or you can't download it, email rhinoam@gmail.com with your order number and we will regenerate your book at no cost, or refund you in full if we can't.

You don't need to argue the point with us — a book you paid for and didn't receive gets fixed or refunded. Please give us the chance to do that before contacting your bank; we'll almost always be faster.

What you're buying

A single digital storybook, delivered as a downloadable PDF of the length you chose (8, 12, or 16 pages), for personal, non-commercial use in your own family. Printing copies at home for your household is fine. Reselling the book, or the story and illustrations inside it, is not.

Stories and artwork are generated by AI from the details you provide. Each book is unique, but we can't promise a particular style, wording, or likeness, and small imperfections in generated artwork are a normal part of how these books are made rather than a delivery failure.

Immediate delivery of digital content

By ordering, you ask us to begin making your book right away and you acknowledge that you lose any statutory right to cancel once generation has started. Where the law gives you a cancellation or withdrawal period for digital content, this acknowledgement is what waives it — and it's why we can't take the book back afterwards.

Getting in touch

Questions, problems, or a book that never arrived: rhinoam@gmail.com. Include your order number if you have it — it's on the page you landed on after paying.
